Christmas Again??

We had a little (and I mean little) bit of snow yesterday afternoon. Riley noticed quickly and said, "Mom, does this mean it is Christmas again since it is snowing?" Good try, Riley.

Kyle Update: Kyle is getting better and better everyday. Thanks for the prayers! He is really back to his old self just with a little wheeze and cough. We go back to the doctor on Tuesday, the 29th, for a final check up. If only we could get him back into his old sleeping patterns. He got a little spoiled this week being held all the time!

RSV

This past weekend, Kyle started getting sick. Yesterday, Kelly and I took him to the doctor and they confirmed he has RSV. Luckily, they did not admit him and let us come home to battle this virus. I will take Kyle back to the doctor on Wednesday to make sure he is able to keep his oxygen level stable or they will put him in the hospital. The last couple of nights have been hard and the doctor said that we have not seen the worst of this virus yet.

Please pray that Kyle can beat this and that we can stay out of the hospital. It is going to be a long week. We are ready to have our happy baby back!

Amarillo By Morning (Or Afternoon)

We had a great day in Amarillo on Friday. Jacob and Riley had a blast at "the jumping place". They had been asking to go back there for several months and we finally had the chance. If you notice a hole in Jacob's smile, he lost another tooth before we left the house.

They burned off a lot of energy before we headed up to see GG. We had a good visit with GG and she enjoyed showing off all 3 boys to her friends. After dinner at Applebee's, we headed home exhausted!

T.G.I.T (Thank Goodness it's Thursday)

The weekend has officially started. Woohoo!! Jacob does not have school tomorrow because Bailey County has its stock show this weekend. I am not sure how we are going to spend our extra day off, but I am sure we can find something fun to do!

Today, we have sat around the fire and tried to keep warm. The temperature is not supposed to get above freezing. The game cube has been keeping the boys busy while we are stuck inside.

Kyle has started smiling, but I can't seem to catch a picture of him with a smile on his face. He is so cute when he gives us that big toothless grin. Maybe I can get a picture this weekend.

Dirt Work

Jacob and Riley have been spending every single second of free time that they have to work in the big dirt pile in the backyard. (formerly the fish pond) I am not sure why they have suddenly taken an interest in dirtwork, but I have enjoyed having them out of the house and close enough to check on. We have been fortunate to have nice weather for the past week or so, but the weatherman says that will change this week and they will be stuck inside the house again.

Howdy from Muleshoe

Well, I bit the bullet and I am going to give this blog thing a shot. The main reason I finally decided to start a blog was for my own personal records. The boys are growing up so fast...I thought this might help me remember some of the crazy and silly things they do.

So, here goes...
