More Dirtbike Pictures!

Kyle and I went to the field last night with the boys. We finally got to see the dirt bike and I could not resist taking a few more pictures. Riley has a blue helmet and he likes to try to do "tricks". He is a cautious driver and likes to ride in 1st gear. (I can run faster than Riley rides.)

Jacob has a green helmet and he likes to ride fast. He is usually in 2nd or 3rd gear and loves to ride all over the farm.

My little Chunky Monkey

Can you see the double chin? He does not miss many meals! My little boy is now a whopping 13 lbs 8 ounces.

We have come a long way, baby. I can't believe Kyle will be 3 months old this Friday.

Sleepover!!

I know, I am very brave! I decided to let the boys each invite a friend over last night. We did not do anything special, but I think they had a lot of fun. We picked up the friends about 5 and came home and played outside. I ordered pizza about 7 and they came in to eat and play the game cube. After many sword fights, a little television and a few cookies, they finally settled down about 10:30. All 4 slept on the sun room floor.

This morning they all woke up about 7 and it was Krispy Kreme donuts and they were outside again. (That is until the wind picked up and they all got cold.) At 10, we warmed up left over pizza and now everyone is hitting a sinking spell and they are half awake watching television.

Those boys can sure put away the food. What will it be like in 10 years?

Doctors and Shots

We have done our part to support the Lubbock economy this week! Kelly and Riley had a routine appointment on Monday with the allergist. They made a day of it and had lunch and watched a movie. Kyle and I stayed home because he had a cold and I wanted him to get better. Monday night Kyle went down hill and started running a fever. I took him to the doctor on Tuesday. Here is where the story gets long and really boring, but basically they did blood work and started him on a round of 3 shots. The doctors are still not sure what type of infection it is, but we our doing the shots just to be safe. We went back on Wednesday for another exam and shot. Today we will just have a shot. If the blood work comes back clear, then we should be finished with the doctors for now. Kyle feels better and has been sleeping a lot better.

I enjoy Lubbock, but not with a sick baby!

Christmas in February

It was just like Christmas at our house today. Kelly picked up Jacob and Riley after school and took them to Clovis for a surprise. They stopped at the "dirt bike place" to look at the dirt bikes and four wheelers and boy were those boys surprised when their daddy told them to pick out a helmet because they were taking a blue dirt bike home. All Riley ever talks about is dirt bikes, so we thought it was time to see how interested in them he really is. After they loaded up, Kelly took them to the field to give it a test drive. They braved the freezing temperatures to take the bike for a spin before the sun went down. I am not sure who had more fun today, Kelly, Jacob or Riley.

Happy Valentines Day

We had a fun Valentines Day. Jacob got out of school early and so we loaded up and headed to Lubbock. We had a few errands to run and then we went to Chuck E Cheese. Jacob and Riley had a blast and Kyle thought the place was pretty cool, too. He loved all the bright colors and flashing lights. After a stop at Coldstone for a quick Valentine for their Daddy, we got home just before bedtime.

Valentine note: Jacob got 1st place in his class for his Valentine box. He was beaming from ear to ear when his teacher announced the winner.

Weekend Update

We had a fun weekend with Mimi and Pawpaw. They brought some beautiful weather up from Central Texas and we got to spend time playing outside. We walked to the park, played a game of baseball and got to play a lot of games inside. Jacob and Riley were both disappointed when they woke up and found out that Mimi and Pawpaw had gone home on Monday morning. Come back soon Mimi and Pawpaw!
